Liberty...

This performance began with the Troupe's cherished "Liberty We Call Thee" dance, a compilation of different ethnic dances, symbolizing America's "melting pot" of ethnicities.
Here are just a few...

Lithuania...  China...

Russia...

The "Melting Pot"

Life...

The second half of the performance is the pro-life story of a young woman beautifully told through the poem "Life"
-written by Miss Sarah Halbur (Dance and Theatre Troupe member)
-story line & dances choreographed by Simonetta Pacek (director)

Mom:
This moment will last our whole lifetime
While our lifetime lasts but a moment;
This gift we’ve been given is given to share…
The Gift of Love

I love you so much, my dear one
Everything with you I share
My Faith, my Hope, a Promise forever
In sickness and health I will care.

Even when you are old and stooped
And your silky hair turns gray
I will clasp your hand and never forget
The Promise of our wedding day.

I will love and honor, cherish and hold
Your heart within my heart
I am yours and you are mine
‘Till the call of death do us part.

Where does our wondrous love lead us?
Right to the Heart of Our Christ
Through loving each other, we love Him better,
Our Way, our Truth, and our Life.

In this blessed commitment
Two have become one flesh
Forgetting my wants in care for the other
Our hopes, hearts, and home to bless.

~Spring~

Mom:
Oh! The joy which fills my soul
I could fly to heaven with bliss
Our awesome God has blessed out love
with more than a whisper or a kiss

A baby He's sent-a soul for the kingdom
Growing and forming inside me
A miracle of Life, a child-our child
Delicate and small as can be!

He's blessed our promise and commitment of love
As part of His wondrous plan
The love between us, husband and wife
Bears fruit through the work of His Hand...

I know you are here, my child
The greatest gift God doth give
To be a mother, your teacher and guide
For Him as a family we live.

You are here!

Baby:
Here I am...I am here!
In this wonderful, warm, soft Place
But...how did I get here? Who am I, really?
What is this delightful space?

Angel:
Ah...my child, you started from Love
...from the Hand of Our Father,
In Heaven above.

From the start of the world
you were part of His will
He has a special plan
Only you can fulfill.

So...He touched the hearts
Of a woman and man
To promise that always
Together they'd stand

A gift for God
They gave to each other
And blessing this gift
He made them father and mother

You are their child
Growing under the heart
Of your own dear mother
This is your start.

Love gave you life
And in love you will grow
Return this love
And joy you will know...forever!

You are a child of Love.

Mom:
My belly is growing as you grow inside me
We heard the thump, thump today
For the sweet, strong pulse of your beating heart
We thank God in a special way.
You are here!

Baby:
Here I am, so little and small
The size of a violet, can you see me at all?
You know I am here, the child of your love
Because God gave me to you, His gift from above.
I am here!

-Summer-

Baby:
My angel, can you tell me
What is this word I hear –
Love…what is love?

Angel:
Ah…my child, GOD is Love
From Him have come all things
Your mom, your dad, their love, and you
Everything in love He brings.

Angel:
God’s great Heart is so very big
He has lots of love to give
His Promise of Love bore fruit through His Son
In order that you may live.

Mom:
Now our promise of love has born fruit
In the person of this little one
We will share our love with her day by day
We’ll teach her to draw towards the Son

Angel:
She will know
She will be
She will love

Mom:
I loved you
Yesterday. Today. Tomorrow. Forever.

 Baby:
Whose is that voice my Angel
So tender, so soft, and so mild
Is that the voice of my Mommy,
Who calls me her “Sweet little child”?

And whose is that other voice, my Angel
So protecting, so strong, and so free
Is that the voice of my Daddy
The brave Daddy waiting for me?

Angel:
The musical voice of your mommy
The powerful voice of your dad
Yes, these you hear – their laughter, their song
Your presence makes them so glad.

Baby:
What is that up above me?
The lub-dub, lub-dub I hear
It makes me feel so safe and warm
It takes away my fear.

Angel:
That lub-dub lullaby you hear
Is for you a special song
A song in the heart of your mommy
The mommy to whom you belong.

Angel: Listen!

-Mother laughs-

Baby: That…is my mommy

~Fall~

Baby:
Oh! I am so happy to be here!
-- But this space is getting small
Is it getting smaller…or am I getting bigger?
Oops, I just hit the wall!

Angel:
This space is getting smaller
Because you have grown so much
That wall is your mom’s belly
Which your arms and feet do touch!

Baby:
Ooh…that is my mommy -
I didn’t hurt her, did I?
Because if I hurt mommy
I think I’ll start to cry.

Angel:
Do not cry my little one
You don’t hurt her, you see
She likes to feel your little feet
Pressed against her tummy

You will get to meet her soon
And meet your Daddy too
For in just a little bit of time
You’ll enter a world big and new.

They will hold you in their arms
And they will love you dear
They will lead you day by day
You have naught to fear

Baby (spreads arms):

My little heart is ready
For that world so big and new
I know they love me and I can love back
That is what I will do!

~Winter~

Mom:
Oh, the time is finally here
The day has finally come
We’ve waited so long, and now you’ve arrived
You are our little one.

You are here!

Dad:
The years soar by
How time has flown
Now four years old
How you have grown!

Mom:
I will never forget the joy of the moment –
The moment your life began
When we discovered God’s gift of you,
We rejoiced in His marvelous plan

Dad:
You are a Child of Love

Mom:
And we can’t imagine Life without you.
